Human Design is a self-observation system that maps your energetic makeup using precise astronomical data from the moment of birth. It synthesizes elements from astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah, and the chakra system into a single chart — your bodygraph.

A relationship analysis layers two bodygraphs to name the interaction patterns between two people. Rather than predicting compatibility, it maps the mechanics: where energy flows naturally, where friction tends to build, and what each person's design reinforces in the other.

The goal is not to tell you what to do — it's to give you a language for what you may already sense. When you can name the pattern, you can notice it in real time and respond from your own authority rather than from conditioning.

Each person carries one of five energy types — Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, Manifestor, or Reflector — each with a distinct strategy for engaging with the world. When two types interact, certain patterns tend to emerge.

A Generator's consistent sacral energy can feel stabilizing to a Projector but overwhelming if the Projector doesn't have space to withdraw. A Manifestor's initiating force may energize a Manifesting Generator or create friction if neither pauses to inform. These aren't rules — they're tendencies the mechanics reinforce, observable in day-to-day life.

Understanding your type interaction doesn't prescribe the relationship. It names the architecture so you can work with it rather than against it.
